Jim Shook was Manager of Industrial Design and Human Factors at Tandem Computers (acquired by Hewlett Packard) for 12 years. He developed a broad knowledge of high-tech computer systems. This knowledge has been expanded to other high-tech products including portable surveyors system, and various consumer high tech products (see consumer products). some of the products shown were designed by other designers at Tandem under the direct supervision of Jim Shook)
